Our heroes are the organizations that we idolize, for the great work they accomplish each day, for their dedication to the cause and for the inspiration they give to so many others.

Big Cat Rescue:

Big Cat Rescue is the largest accredited sanctuary in the world dedicated entirely to abused and abandoned big cats. The non-profit 501(c)3 is home to 100 exotic cats in Florida. Stated on their website: “Our dual mission is to provide the best home we can for the cats in our care and educate the public about the plight of these majestic animals, both in captivity and in the wild, to end the inherent abuse of captivity and avoid their extinction.”

Carolina Tiger Rescue

Carolina Tiger Rescue is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization based in North Carolina and is a wildcat sanctuary. As stated on their website, their mission is “saving and protecting wildcats in captivity and in the wild. Carolina Tiger Rescue pursues its mission by providing lifelong homes to wildcats in need of rescue and educating the public about what threatens these animals: in the wild, in the pet trade, and in the entertainment industry.”

The Wildcat Sanctuary

The Wildcat Sanctuary is an accredited 501(c)3 sanctuary in Minnesota for wild cats  in need of a home. The sanctuary is funded solely on private donations and is not open to the public. It’s vision is to “help create a world where animal sanctuaries are no longer needed.” The 100 wild cats that live at TWS live a life free of exhibition. The Wildcat Sanctuary works to educate the public about the captive wildlife crisis.

Panthera

Panthera is a 501(c)3 organization which represents the most comprehensive conservation efforts for wild cats.
